Upsell and Promote with the Public Page

After you’ve created your album, make sure you take advantage of the features we’ve built into AlbumExposure to promote yourself and sell more books!

The public link under “share” is a great page to encourage your client to share their album with friends and family.  It’s a great opportunity to get your work in front of more people.  You could also send that link to parents or extended family for the opportunity to sell an additional book to them. We’ve heard of lots of creative ways people are using the public page!

Last week we added a couple little items to make sharing your albums on AlbumExposure even easier.  When you click to share  an album, you’ll see two new share buttons that you can click to quickly tweet or post on facebook about your album.

 

We also added buttons to the public page so that people who come to view your album can share it on twitter and facebook as well and do some of that promoting for you.

Now go show off your albums!

    On a whim I started using AE because i remember that [b] had it on his site or the [b]school. I needed an elegant solution for album proofing for some out of town clients that lived in Northern CA. Anyway, its one of the most intuitive pieces of software I’ve ever used for online album posting. Love the easy of uploading. First time I used it i didn’t have to read anything. I simply uploaded my album and bam! It worked flawlessly. A few of features that I love: (1) Clients can comment easily on individual pages and I’m alerted by email when they comment. (2) The interface is simple and easy to understand. (3) The CLIENT interface is elegant and upscale for my high-end clients. (4) A unique feature that lets my clients see exactly where the pano or page spread will “split.”
    Customer service is great too. I had a few minor sign-in issues and Jared was quick to fix them and respond.

    I highly recommend AE for ease of use and the perfect price point. I’m using it on a monthly basis for my out of town clients. 

    I few features that I recommend for future releasees are:
    1. An area where clients can enter how they’d like their names and dates to appear. So that us photographers have the proper spelling and correct wedding date.2. A list of leather choices and cover treatments3. An option to order clone albums
