You voted on your favorites, and today we’re happy to announce that we’ve added four new songs from two of those artists: Barrett Johnson and The Ultimate Bearhug. The Ultimate Bearhug just released their album last week, and you can now download it free on their website.

You can find the new music in your account under ‘Songs,’ where you can preview each, and also purchase them for your own personal collection if you enjoy the artist.  To play them in an album slideshow, just select the song from the royalty free list when creating your album.

Previously, Aperture was incompatible with just about every other photo processing program.  We know that several of our users are also Aperture users, so we thought you might be excited to learn that you now have the option to outsource your post-production!  ShootDotEdit is the first post processing company to support integration with the Aperture 3 software.  If you are an Aperture user who kissed outsourcing goodbye, you can go ahead and kiss it hello again.

A few weeks ago we launched the new option for client notification emails.  Here’s a little closer look at how this works…

When you enable client notifications for an album, you will be prompted to enter your client’s email address and choose whether or not you want your clients to receive comment notifications.  Then when you click “send link”, you will be taken to a page like this:

 

Your clients will only receive emails from us if you have enabled client notifications, and they will only receive the emails that you specify.  You can change your client notification settings for an album by clicking on the album name, and editing your selection.  (You may also choose not to use this feature, and your email settings will remain the same.)

For those of you who send links to multiple clients, we will soon be adding the ability to enter multiple client email addresses, as well as cc yourself for your records. :)

We tucked a few items that used to be in the main albums list into the album screen that we felt didn’t need to be as prominent.

We also added album stats so that you can see when the client last viewed the album, as well as when and how many times they viewed it.  If you share the album, you can also track  how many times it’s viewed publicly.

We’ve got lots more coming, and hope you love the new features!
